A great many mods for older games, such asLeft 4 Dead 2, aim to improve the graphics of the game. However, this mod does the complete opposite. The FPS Boost reduces certain graphic elements to improve the performance of the game, which is great for people that play onolder hardware.
Some of the eye candy that has been removed or reduced in this mod includes motion blur, spent cartridges being produced, blood spatters, and bullet holes. The result is a mod that smooths out gameplay during frantic combat, and opens up the game to people who don’t have proper gaming hardware to play on.

The Improved Bots mod forLeft 4 Dead 2does exactly what the name suggests. It attempts to improve the AI of player companions, to make them more useful and effective in combat. This was always a complaint with the original game, as companions could be next to useless at times in thiszombie game.
When installing this mod, the player may need to download and install a specific dependency named SourceMod. Some players have reported needing this dependency, others have not. However, once the mod is working, the improvement in the behavior of companions will be noticeable.
Vastly Improved Graphics

4The Professional Scope
Better Ranged Weapon Aiming
Sometimes a mod is released for a game that does something so simple, that it is hard to believe it was actually worth developing, but turns out to be one of the best mods for the game. The Professional Scope forLeft 4 Dead 2is such a mod.
All this mod does, is replace the originalsniper riflescope, with an improved version that is much smoother, and has an aiming chevron. Furthermore, with a couple of command line tweaks, this mod can be made to turn off the standard crosshairs when aiming down the scope.
Better Full Motion Video
The author of theLeft 4 Dead 2- 4K Remastered Pre-Rendered Cutscenes has been very clever, using AI upscaling to completely remaster the original full-motion cutscenes that shipped withLeft 4 Dead 2. Furthermore, the audio has been reprocessed and improved.
As a byproduct of installing this mod, it has been reported that previous problems with the release versions of the cut scenes stuttering, have been completely solved. The mod author has obviously gone to great effort to ensure the new remastered cut scenes are as high-quality as they can be, and this really shows.

They have then remastered the stock texture to be twice the size of the original. This makes quite an impact on the visuals, adding clarity to this olderFPS game.

This mod is a great little content drop forLeft 4 Dead 2. It adds an entirely playable, Halloween-themed campaign to the game. It has been fully scripted, and the environment uses custom models, sounds, and ambient music.
There are quite a few puzzles that the player will need to solve to be able to get to the finale of this short campaign, and this involves tracking down hidden items and discovering secret locations. Overall, this is a great little mod that brings something fun toLeft 4 Dead 2.
