International fans will be happy to hear that the first episode was also released with English subtitles, so not only can they watch it for free, they can watch it at the same time as Japanese fans. It is a great way to spend time waitingfor the next season of the anime.

The New Anime Mini-Series
Fairy Tale Revengersis a new mini-anime series that is available onYouTubeto watch for free. The first episode was released this past week, and is part 1 of a 3-part story. The episode is only a little over 3 minutes long, and animated in a simple, cute chibi style. At the time of publishing, the video had already gained more than 79,000 views and over 8,000 likes, along with hundreds of comments.
Fairy Tale Revengerswill be exploring classic fairy tales, but they will be retold using the characters fromTokyo Revengers. The first story being adapted is Momotaro, one of themost well-known Japanese folk stories. It tells the story of a boy who is born from a peach, who goes on to defeat the demons that plague his land with the help of three animal companions. The basic story stays the same inFairy Tale Revengers, but the characters have all been replaced with those from the anime.
Right now, the YouTube channel does not have any information about when more episodes will be released or what stories they will cover, but the wording of the caption does make it sound like this is only the first in a series. Hopefully, considering the simple animation style and the short length of the episodes, fans will not have to wait too long to see what is coming next. For now, the first episode ofFairy Tale Revengersis available in Japanese with English subtitles.

Where is the Series Right Now?
Tokyo Revengersfirst aired in April 2021, and went on to become an incredibly popular series both in Japan and abroad. Due to the success of its manga, which was published in English by Kodansha USA Publishing, the anime series was released byCrunchyrollon the same day that it released in Japan. Two years later in January 2023,Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdownaired onDisney+and Hulu.
In October 2023,Disney+ exclusively airedthe third part ofTokyo Revengers,Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc,internationally. All seasons of the anime were well-received, and the series has maintained its popularity over the past three years. It has also inspired three live-action films so far, the first of which was the #1 live-action film in Japan in 2021. The manga, which began in March 2017 inShōnen Weekly Jump, concluded in November 2023.
There are still two more arcs left to be turned into anime, the Bonten Arc and the Final Arc (which is split even more into the Three Dietiesand Kanto Manji Arcs). That could mean there are still two more series ofTokyo Revengersto come, at minimum, and there may be even more. With the series' ongoing success, there is a good chance that they will be made in the upcoming years.
