Slitterheadmostly sends players through linear story missions with clear signs of progression. However, after a couple of hours of game time, players will hit a progression block, where they must find a new Rarity to join the party before the story can continue.
Slitterheaddoesn’t really do a good job explaining where to actually find thehidden Rarities, so this guide will coverall Rarity locations inSlitterheadso that you can beat the game and work your way towardsunlocking Trophies and Achievements.
Lurking Parasite RE (2nd Loop) - Signs of Rarities
Where to Find Edo
After completing theInsidious Suckermission, a new Rarity must join your crew before you can proceed with the narrative. To find the next one, return to theLurking Parasite RE 2nd Loopmission.
When the mission starts, and you’re on themain street with the markets and parked cars, look for an alley near a red taxi car. You’ll see abarking dogfacing a blocked path.
Go ahead and possess the dogand then use its smelling powers tofollow the red scentaround the side of the building. This will lead you to a locked gate and a cutscene will start. You’ll see a weak man lying on the floor; take control of him. This is your nextSlitterheadRarity,Edo.
Unlocking Edo will reward players with theDrunken Angel Trophy/Achievement.
Fight the monsters attacking Edo, and he will officially join the crew. Feel free to return to the main menu to proceed with the storyline. You won’t need to find Edo again, as your progress will be saved.
Hidden Cave RE (2nd Loop) - Signs of Rarities
Where to Find Tri
Make your way through the facility until you need to “find a view that overlooks the dining hall window.” You’ll pass by a group of people in chairs at a prayer/meeting. Go through the following hallway, and your Rarity should stop in their tracks tooverhear a conversation from an open windowthat you can travel through using your spirit form.
Go through the space, and you’ll find theRarity named Tri, who is being attacked by a Slitterhead. Just like Edo, go ahead and possess her, defeat the monsters, and then unlock her as a party member. You’ll also unlock the ‘The Housekeepers Sees’ Trophy/Achievement.
If the dialog in the hallway doesn’t trigger, try listening in on the conversations of the NPCs in the building.
Sleepless Zone RE (2nd Loop) - Signs of Rarities
Where to Find
Before you start this mission replay, ensure to bring Edo with you. If you don’t have him in your party, you cannot locate the Rarity in this mission.
At some point, you will exit the Mafia’s hideout and appear on top of a roof, and some Slitterheads will pop out for a battle.
Defeat the monsters and instead of possessing the NPC in the apartment across the way, go interact with the nearby door on the left to find asecret area that only Edo can enter.
Go through the door, run down the hallway to the right, and then acutscene will show you an open vent to travel through. Head through it in your spirit form to find a young boy in need of help namedDoni.
Defeat the monsters withDoni, and he will join you. This will unlock the’Glass Teen' Trophy/Achievement.
