Zen Eggs were added toGrow a Gardenas part of the Zen Update and can be purchased from the Zen shop for 30 Zen Coins or 149 Robux. Like most ofthe game’s other Legendary eggs, Zen Eggs take four hours and ten minutes to hatch and can contain one of six potential pets.
As the name of the egg suggests, all of the Zen Egg pets are tranquility-themed and are inspired by Japanese culture. MostRobloxplayers will probably be familiar with the Shiba Inu, Tanuki, and Kitsune already, but the Nonzaru, Tanchozuru, and Kappa are a bit more obscure.

What’s the Best Zen Egg Pet in Grow a Garden?
Given its rarity, it should come as no surprise to learn thatthe Kitsune is the best Zen Egg pet, although it’s far from the only pet worth hatching during the Zen Update period. For an uncommon pet, the Shiba Inu is massively OP, with its ability to dig up random seeds having the potential to be incredibly useful for newer players. The Kappa and the Tanchozuru are decent too, although both will gradually lose their value asmore desirable mutationsare added to the game. To an extent, the same is true of the Kitsune, although its ability to steal fruit from other players should ensure that it remains part of the meta for a little longer than the others.
