TheAttribute SysteminTitan Quest 2is slightly differentthan that of its predecessor, and both veteran and new players will need to learn what all these stats are about before they can try to create the best possible builds for their characters.

All attributes are intrinsically linked, and in order to know what to prioritize, this guide will explain every Main Attribute along with its interaction with Secondary Attributes, and how these affect stats, combat, skills, passives, and survivability.

Attributes in Titan Quest 2

How Do Attributes Work In Titan Quest 2?

There are fourMain AttributesinTitan Quest 2:Might(Lion Icon),Knowledge(Owl Icon),Vigor(Bull Icon), andAgility(Dolphin Icon).

Each of these Main Attributes interacts and alters theSecondary Attributes, which areCunning(Fox),Fitness(Horse), andResolve(Eagle). The way Attributes interact with each other is detailed in the following list:

Vigor increases all Secondary Attributes Titan Quest 2

Now, each of these Main and Secondary Attributes alter the stats of the character in the following way:

Stats

Might

Increases the effectiveness of Heavy Weapons, Heavy Armor, and Ornate Armor (Axes, Maces, Mauls)

Knowledge

Increases the effectiveness of Magos Robes, Plated Robes, and Magical Weapons (Staffs)

Agility

Increases the effectiveness of Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Fast Weapons (Swords, Daggers)

Increases Poison and Lightning damage.

As players might have noticed, the Core Stats are altered by the Main attributes, while the secondary stats are altered by Passives from the Masteries, and their interactions with the Secondary Attributes. These, in turn, increase offensive stats such asLightning Damage percentagethat spells or abilities from the Storm Mastery use tocalculate damage. This makes combining classes (Masteries) and creating hybrid builds a lot easier than it was inTitan Quest.

Let’s use a more concrete example:Player Awants to build apure melee class, so he decided to go withWarfare Mastery as its main, andRogue Masteryas its secondary. This player will need to invest in Vigor to gain more Health and increase all Secondary Attributes, and Might, to increase the effectiveness of Heavy Armor and the damage he causes using Two-Handed Melee weapons.

At some point, Player A will feel like the Rogue Mastery skills are a bit more attractive than the Warfare Mastery, so he will attempt to invest some points there. Usually, this would leave him at a disadvantage in terms of skill power, butsince he invested in Vigor, which increases Cunning and Fitness, he will notice that some of itsskills increase in power nonetheless, so he will not feel the need to invest in Agility to compensate for this hybrid build’s weak points.

Try various combinations of Attributes and Masteries. Players can only choose 2 masteries, but they can reset their stats at the God’s Altar in Cities. Changing stats beforechallenging powerful enemies like Bossesis a good strategy to progress faster inTitan Quest 2.

The same system makes it possible for various combinations like theTempest(Warfare + Storm) scale towards creating a good synergy, without the need to switch between Staves and Heavy weapons, or have the typical ‘Mage Armor’ equipped. So, addingVigor is like a Joker, it will always work towards building proficiency in all types of damage and also increase the player’s defenses.
