Summary
TheFortniteloot pool has changed once more with Chapter 5 Season 4: Absolute Doom. With powerful weapons at players' disposal, they might want to know of the best-returning weapons inFortnite, and how these unvaulted beauties can compete against the harshness of Chapter 5 Season 4’s Marvel Mythics that will surely bring about strong competition.
The Victory Royalehas never been harder to claim with such an extensive loot pool, soFortnite’s best unvaulted weapons are definitely going to aid in players that need to win and take the fight to the 99 other players on the Battle Royale island.
5Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
Projectile-Throwing Gauntlets With Decent Damage Capabilities
Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets finally return after four years, where they were last seen in Chapter 2 Season 4.The Doom Arcane Gauntletswere originally part of the first Marvel season ofFortnite, and they have since returned with an upgrade. Players can now eliminate Doombot at Castle Doom to get the Doctor Doom Arcane Gauntlets, where they will see an advantage in aggressive playstyles.
The Arcane Gauntlets have two methods of attack. A Mystical Bomb that hits for 90 damage at a cost of a 12-second cooldown and an Arcane Blast hits 8 times before needing a cooldown, with each hit damaging for 50. The Arcane Gauntlets fire projectiles, so players need decent aim and a cluster of foes for the splash damage.
4Chug Splash
A Consumable That Can Be Thrown To Heal Players
One of the most useful healing items inFortniteis the Chug Splash, which has thankfully returned to the loot pool at the start of Chapter 5 Season 4. The Chug Splash might have been absent for a season, but it’s back now, and better than ever. Whilst it hasn’t seen any change in function, it’s nice to see it back due to how players can use it to heal their health and shields, as well as their allies.
Players can carry 6 Chug Splashes, and throwing them will provide 20 HP or 20 Shields. They’re vital for intense fights, as players can throw them to heal themselves and allies behind cover or in the midst of a fight, allowing them to stay alive without needing to stand around and drink a potion.

A decent fully automatic assault rifle is the Striker AR, which has the appearance of the scar that was first seen in Season 1. This unique variant of the assault rifle is incredibly useful in the right hands, as although it exhibits a strong recoil, its fire rate and damage potential are great, especially in a loot pool that lacks snipers.
Players can use the Striker Assault Rifle to counter fights from a decent range, and the range of attachments they can add to the weapon with Gold Bars means that they are in for an advantage over players who have lesser rifles.

The Striker Burst AR is actually a new weapon, but its design and gameplay feel beyond similar to the Burst Assault Rifle, which was introduced way back inFortnite’s Pre-Season. Whilst the Burst Assault Rifle is its own weapon, the Striker Burst Ar comes in as its superior successor, and without snipers, this is going to be a must-have for long-range engagements.
The Striker Burst AR has a harsh amount of damage to dish out, as well as a moderate fire rate that aids with accuracy and recoil. Players can use the Striker Burst AR for accurate long-range shots against opponents but don’t try to use it in short ranges where shotguns and SMGs reign supreme.
1Captain America’s Shield
The Iconic Shield of Captain America That Blocks Incoming Fire and Can be Thrown
Captain America’s Vibranium Shieldmakes a useful return. Its origin point comes fromFortnite’s first collab with Marvel to celebrate Infinity War. Captain America’s Shield was fun then, and it’s even more fun now. The shield does a great amount of damage when thrown, and players can instantly throw it and catch it, allowing for a multitude of quick strikes.
Players can also charge through the battlefield with the shield, and if it hits anyone, that’s a nice 50 damage. Even better still is how the shield can be used as a defense, as blocking allows players to absorb a great amount of damage without the risk of getting shot.
