ThoughAmong Ushascrossed over with other games likeVampire Survivorsbefore, this latest crossover may be one of its most ambitious yet. According toInnersloth’s latest blog post,Among UsandCritical Roleare collaborating with a new Cosmicube that players can unlock for a limited time. Dubbed “Gilmore’s Curious Cosmicube” inAmong Us, the new reward track will cost 110 Stars, or $9.99 to unlock. This new collaboration runs from August 13 to November 12, so players will have three months to acquire the Cosmicube rewards they want. Once unlocked, players who participate in various game modes can unlock outfit sets based on iconic party members featured inCritical Role’s three campaigns, such as Jester Lavorre, Laudna, and Vax’ildan.
Among Us And Critical Role Are Teaming Up
Two pets based on Little Mister and Pâté de Rolo and four new nameplates are also included in theCritical RoleCosmicube track. However, players who areassigned the Imposter roleand equip Chetney Pock O’Pea’s full cosmetic set will unlock a unique kill animation that only unsuspecting Crewmates will witness. As a nod toCritical Role’songoing Third Campaign, Imposters dressed like the gnomish blood hunter will transform into werewolves to take out their victims. In addition to the surprisingCritical Rolecrossover, the v2024.8.13 update forAmong Usfixed some issues with the Airship, Fungle, and Mira HQ maps alongside some platform-specific problems. Innersloth encouraged players to send bug reports in case anything was missed.
Between theCritical Rolecollaboration and the upcoming TV series,Among Uscontinues to demonstrate why it’s one ofthe most successful indie games. It remains to be seen who Innersloth will cross over with in the future.
