In the run-up to this event,Dealabs' Billbil-kunleaked several details about the upcoming title, including its alleged release date: October 10. This claim aligns with a recent report from Telegram dataminer group 1BF, whichindicated thatBattlefield 6is targeting a mid-October 2025 launchas well. Billbil-kun also outlined the purported pricing details of the upcoming shooter in the European Union.

The insider’s information suggests thatBattlefield 6will start at €69.99 for the PC version of the base game, which will be €10 more expensive on consoles. This platform pricing discrepancy aligns with recent industry trends, as modernAAA titles are often slightly more expensive on consoles than PC. The premium version ofBattlefield 6, supposedly called the Phantom Edition, will retail for €99.99 and €109.99 on PC and consoles, respectively, as per the same source. Upgrading the base game to the higher-tier edition will reportedly also be an option for those willing to pay the price difference between the two.

Exactly how these figures will translate to the U.S. market remains to be seen. While there’s no shortage of publishers who opt for regional game pricing, EA doesn’t always practice this approach, especially when it comes to its big-budget franchises. For instance,EA Sports FC 26pre-orders just went live in mid-July 2025, with the PC version of the base game being priced at €69.99 in Europe and $69.99 in the U.S. It’s hence not guaranteed that stateside Steam users will have to pay more than $69.99 forBattlefield 6just because the game will retail for €69.99 in the EU, with EA being just as likely to once again opt for the so-called lazy currency conversion approach.

Battlefield 6 Will Reportedly Have 2 Cover Artworks

Billbil-kun reports thatBattlefield 6pre-orders will open on July 31. This particular tidbit and the game’s pricing information are expected to be officially confirmed following the July 24 reveal, presumably right after the reveal trailer drops. The insider alsoshareda heavily redacted version of the Phantom Edition’s cover artwork, which will apparently feature a vivid, saturated red-orange color. A soldier equipped with a gas mask and night vision goggles appears to adorn the foreground, with three planes visible in the background. As for the base game, its cover is said to feature the same artwork that EA already shared on social media, which is also used as the thumbnail of theBattlefield 6trailer YouTube Premierepage.
