After accepting an offer from siblings Adeline and Eiland for a plot of land to farm on, it is up to the player to help with the town’s revitalization plan and get Mistria back on its feet. Get to Know Your Neighbors

InFields of Mistria, there are over 25 different characters to interact with, ranging from adorable children and pets to distinct Saturday Market shop owners and romanceable bachelors and bachelorettes. Every day, players can talk with each NPC, learn more about how they go about their daily lives in Mistria, and give them a gift. By doing this, players can gain hearts for each villager as their relationship steadily increases.

Factors such as giving gifts that a person likes and loves or replying with a response that they favor can expedite the process.

Unlike other farming simulators like Stardew Valley,Fields of Mistriaallows players to get around with more mobility. Have a few stones and logs in the way? Jump over them and keep moving towards your destination.

Once a player reopens the Mines and unlocks the Jump Attack skill perk with 15 Essence, they can jump and attack enemies from mid-air. Beyond avoiding obstacles, players can jump down small cliffs to save on precious in-game time and get to places faster than before.

Adding to the Collection Has Its Benefits

Fields of Mistriafeatures its own version ofCoral Island’s museum, where players can donate items they find across the idyllic village of Mistria. Starting on the second day of spring, players can head to the Museum, which is located on the northeast side of The Narrows, and place donations in the collection box for the archaeological finds, flora, fish, and insect exhibits.

With each donation, the player will be able to see their progress towards museum collections like the Spring Forage set and earn rewards for each one that is completed.

As players explore the world and converse with their neighbors, quests can be a fun and great source of gaining renown, earning money, and moving the story forward. Quests can be started by accepting them at the job board next to the General Store or by reading mail sent by one of the villagers.

Despite the seasons passing, most requests don’t have an expiration date and can be completed at any time. Don’t hesitate to accept and save them to complete later on.

Similar todigging up fossils inAnimal Crossing,Fields of Mistriahas its own collection of artifacts hidden across the land for players to find. The most common places for artifacts are dig spots that can be uncovered with a shovel or pickaxe and can be found at the Western Ruins, the Mines, and across Mistria.

Besides being at dig spots, players can also collect artifacts by fishing or diving in bodies of water. Be sure to unlock the different tiers in the Archaeology skill tree to gain perks.

6Get In Bed Before 2 AM

Don’t Miss Your Curfew

Days inFields of Mistriastart with players waking up in bed to the crow of a rooster at the early morning hour of 6 AM. While there are several hours for players to complete tasks and journey around Mistria, time passes rather quickly with a playtime of about 12 minutes.

Once it reaches midnight, the player receives a warning and has until 2 AM to return home and go to bed. Failing to do so will result in the player falling asleep wherever they are and waking up late the next day with reduced HP and stamina.

The nice thing aboutFields of Mistria’s map is not just knowing where places like Sweetwater Farm are but also the villagers. The first quest “Greet the Townsfolk” could take a long time by wandering around but with this map feature, meeting the residents of Mistria can be done with ease.

As long as the player has met them, the exact location of an NPC can be found, even as they are moving from one place to another on the map.

Just Keep Swimming

It’s not often in farming simulators that characters can go into water andFields of Mistriaallows players to do just that. After jumping from a flat surface, players can swim in a river, pond, or ocean alongside fish and other underwater creatures. Be aware that if you swim too close, they will swim away.

Occasionally, a round spot will appear in the water that a player can interact with and prompt them to dive and collect an item such as clay, fish, or even an artifact.

Doing things like collecting logs and stones and fishing around Mistria can deplete a lot of energy. While the player doesn’t pass out once stamina hits zero, it can be a bit annoying to stop the grind.Fields of Mistriaoffers many ways to restore stamina for free.

One way is at The Sleeping Dragon Inn, where players can eat a free bowl of soup daily. While traveling around, players can find and consume foraged food like wild berries or even take a sip from a magical drinking fountain.

Do It Yourself

In the early days of the game, players will learn the art of cooking, wood crafting, and blacksmithing from their friendly neighbors. In the beginning, no crafting stations are at the player’s farm but there are places across Mistria that are available to use.

Players can cook at The Sleeping Dragon Inn, use the forge next to Olric and March’s Blacksmith Shop, and craft furniture at the Carpenter’s Shop or next to the building with a bell. As the player increases their respective skill levels with Essence, they can not only craft faster but reduce the amount of time it takes to create an item.
