In the prologue ofTitan Quest 2, players will get to choose two of thefour available Masteries, and those two available skill trees will determine what kind of character you’ll build throughout the game. One of the Masteries is Rogue, which can be one of the strongest early game Masteries if built right.
For this article, there will only be a focus on upgrades in the Rogue skill tree, as any other Mastery can be used with Rogue, depending on the play style you want. Since you’re able to upgrade your Masteries in whatever order you want, this build can be finalized in just the first area of the game if you prioritize only Rogue upgrades.
Best Rogue Attributes to Level Up in Titan Quest 2
Themost important attributeto increase for Rogue is Fitness, as it increases Strike and Pierce damage. You can upgrade this Secondary attribute by upgrading either Agility or Might. You should prioritize Agility, but it’s also worthwhile putting a few points in Might every now and then. While a few points in Vigor wouldn’t hurt, this Mastery is very focused on a glass-cannon build, so spending points to increase health will lower your overall DPS when there are other ways to keep yourself alive.
Best Rogue Active & Passive Skills in Titan Quest 2
The best early game Rogue build iscentered around the Trick Shot active skill, which is one of the first active skills you’re able to unlock. You’ll want to max out this skill by investing seventeen points into the skill. With those levels, it’s recommended you give the skill all the damage upgrade possible.
Trick Shot penetrates through enemies, and with enough upgrades, instantly kills most regular enemies.
As you increase your Divinity in the Rogue Mastery, you’ll want to unlock the following two skills that give temporary buffs to damage and ailment chance:
The main combat style for this Mastery is to use the Trick Shot skill more often than not. This skill will penetrate through enemies, and as long as you line up your throws, you can quickly cut through single strong enemies or groups of enemies. The bonuses applied by the other two Active skills, along with the following passive skills, will also boost your basic weapon damage. With thedamage output of Trickshot, you’llquickly get your Energy potion refilledand can constantly use it in combat to spam the Trick Shot skill as much as you want.
Increased damage, attack speed, and Cast Speed
Increased Pierce Damage, Penetration, Bleed Chance, and Bleed Power.
Best Gear for Rogues in Titan Quest 2
Based on the upgrades above, you’ll want to make sure yourtwo-handed or dual-wielding weapons both deal Pierce damage. While shields offer some damage resistance, you’ll want to focus purely on dealing damage,no matter the difficulty, but your basic weapon attack will usually be a last resort option in combat.
For your armor, you should try toprioritize either light or medium armor, as this will lower your dodge cooldown. This Mastery can’t take a hit well, so focus on dodging more than anything, and as long as you deal enough damage, your potions will regenerate fast, letting you heal whenever you do get hit.
