Wuchang: Fallen Feathersis a very skill-demanding game, and while skill alone can get players all the way to the end, leveling up is still going to be something they’ll want to do if they want to make things a little easier on themselves. Inthis Soulslike game, Red Mercury Essence is the player’s primary form of XP and currency, and they’re going to need a lot of it.
Farming Red Mercury Essence is always an option if you find yourself stuck in a difficult fight or in need of some money for items. This guide covers two of the best XP farming spots inWuchang: Fallen Feathersthat players can take advantage of very early on in the game.
Best Early Red Essence Farm in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
The spot you’re looking for is very early on in the game — Lightzen Temple. This is the first enemy-populated area players will encounter, and it’s very good for farming XP because it isdensely packed with enemies that are easy to beat on repeat.
Defeating all the bandits and the two zombies in Lightzen Temple’s courtyardyields about ~900 Red Mercury Essence, and depending on how strong you are, you should be able to comfortably do this well within a couple of minutes. Additionally, enemies here have a chance to drop Red Mercury Sprouts, which give 100 Red Mercury Each. To make things even better, the small enemies have a chance to drop Flying Daggers, which you may either stockpile or sell later.
Make sure to tag all the enemies in Lightzen Temple. There are two enemies hiding in one of the houses near the group of enemies by the campfire, and there’s one more fake monk hiding inside a house near the exit to the temple.
Alternate Spot
If you really want to get all thebest skills early inWuchang: Fallen Feathers, you can tryfarming the enemies around Shu Sanctum. Progress through the area until you can unlock the shortcut connecting the temple to the other side of the stream. Then, you can start fighting everything in the adjacent village for plenty of Red Mercury Essence.
The important thing to do here is to huntall four of the ogre-like enemiesscattered across the village:
These guys drop 270 Red Mercury Essence each. However, they hit fairly hard (especially the one in the village), so be extra careful when fighting them.
This spot should yield more Essence per run, but since the area is bigger and has more enemies, it will naturally take longer to complete. You can finish your loops by either heading back to Shu Temple or by taking the route that loops back to Reverent Temple.
