Yuuya Tenjou has always beena loner, and not by choice. Despite life being cruel to him, he still does his best to do good to people around him — but even kind people have their breaking point. Just as he is nearing it, he finds a door that leads to a house in another world with a game-like progression and incedibly strong magical items. Surprisingly, he can also go back and forth between both worlds while maintaining his stats. Life was not looking so bleak after all.
While both characters are extremely strong, they both also have difficulty interacting with women. Just like Haruka finds it challenging to converse with women who are affectionate toward him, Yuuya has a hard time believing women even see him in that light due to his low self-esteem.

Both Hajime and Haruka prefer independence to heroism. Hajime refuses to fight battles that are not his, such as helping the inhabitants of Tortus against Ehit’s manipulation. Haruka alsodeclines the hero title, preferring to be alone and avoiding meddling in conflicts.
Things begin to get serious for loner Touka Minori when he realizes that he and his classmates were transported to another world where the weakest get disposed of, and he is the supposed weakest of the lot. Using his skills considered useless in a fight or flight situation, he realizes they are not so useless after all and decides to exact his revenge on the goddess that disposed of him.
Unlike Haruka, Minoridecides to follow the path of revenge. However, the two both experience a drastic change in the potential of their abilities, which were once considered useless by the rest of the world.

After being promised the life of a hero with a goddess, the life of Makoto Misumi did not go as expected.
