The Multimach CCX has been one of the most reliable SMGs inDestiny 2when it comes to PvP, and while it’s fallen ever so slightly since its glory days, this weapon can still compete in those close-ranged primary weapon duels to decent effect.
The following is a guide covering three of the best rolls players can get for the Multimach. This weapon has some very stiff competition in the form of guns like Shayura’s Wrath orThe Immortal inDestiny 2, but in the hands of a good player, it can slay out like it did before.
Best Multimach Rolls in Destiny 2
The Multimach is mostly geared towards PvP, but it works in a pinch in PvE if you need a Kinetic primary weapon. It’s a Lightweight Frame SMG, which means you’ll be moving slightly faster when holding it, and it has better Handling than most otherSMGs like No Survivors inDestiny 2. Here are a few of rolls that you’ll want to look out for:
Kinetic Tremors
Range
TheRange/Stability rollis great for players who prefer a weapon with consistent performance. Dynamic Sway Reduction and Tap The Trigger work in tandem to verify your Multimach fires smoothly through the entire magazine by providing tons of Stability, Accuracy, and Recoil Control. The rest are there to maximize your range, which is something that the Multimach is in dire need of.
TheKillstreak rollis for players who want to keep their momentum going. Kill Clip reduces the Multimach’s optimal TTK and makes body shots more forgiving, while Moving Target gives you extra Aim Assist and Reload Speed. Overall, this is a reliable, momentum-based PvP roll commonly seen in other weapons likethe Messenger Pulse Rifle.
As for PvE, there are much better SMGs to go for than the Multimach. However, if you really want to use this weapon outside of the Crucible, then a max Range roll withAttrition Orbs and Kinetic Tremorsshould be the way to go. The latter can trigger the former, and if you’re rocking a build that relies on Orbs of Power, then this roll should definitely be on your list of options.
Don’t forget that the Multimach comes with theField-Tested Origin Trait, which gives itbonus stats. It’ll help with the weapon’s low Range stat, but you need to either score kills or hit enemies enough times before Field-Tested grants you any stacks. Use this to offset stat penalties given by the likes of Full Bore.
