Updated on May 19, 2025, by Jake Fillery:Out of every Dark Ops challenges in Black Ops 6 Zombies, the ones listed below are definitively the hardest to earn, and those who have managed to obtain them should consider themselves true masters of the round-based game mode. With so many Black Ops 6 Dark Ops challenges, true Zombies fans will want to check out the selection to see if they should dare to add any to their own collection.

10Dark Journey

Earn Nebula Camo on 33 Weapons

Acquiring Nebula on any weapon is a grind but on 33? Players need to dedicate some serious time to get this challenge completed, especially when they basically need to get Mystic Gold on every gun, then Opal, then Afterlife, and finally, Nebula. This is going to take roughly 2,700 kills per gun when one account for headshots, hip-fire challenges, and elite/special zombie challenges.

This means that with 33 weapons, and no slip-ups, players will kill almost 90,000 zombies just to get this challenge done, whereas for most matches players will barely get one gun to Mystic Gold, let alone 33 to Nebula due to the harsh requirements.

9Fatale

Kill 2 Amalgams with a Single Shot

Amalgams are perhaps the toughest of the Elite Zombiesfeatured, and they can certainly be terrifying, powerful, and annoying all in one, much like how the monster itself is an amalgamation of many zombies all in one. Yet, to achieve this Dark Ops, players must kill 2 Amalgams with the same shot, which can be very frustrating to pull off.

Multiple Amalgams do not begin to spawn until after round 20+, and even so, they are pretty fast and can regain health by eating other zombies, so trying to get them both to one-shot is very difficult. However, perseverance is key, as is a Pack-a-Punched Cigma rocket launcher, or even a hard-hitting LW3 Sniper.

8Quest Complete (Early)

Complete Main Easter Eggs Before the Release of Directed Mode

Completing one of the Main Easter Eggs available inBlack Ops 6 Zombiesis no easy task, nor is it an easy task on any of thepreviousCOD Zombiestitles. However, what is known about them is how intricate and fun they are, and how rewarding it is to be one of the few people who have actually joined such a small club of players who have achieved victory within these maps.

When a map first releases, players have a chance to jump in and try to complete the easter egg, which comes at a time where the strategy is perhaps not the most refined, and there are a few nerfs needed for a successful encounter. However, those who do dare the challenge and complete it, are rewarded with a calling card with a golden skull, but these are limited-time challenges until Directed Mode releases.

7Social Distancing

Reach Round 20 Without Taking Any Damage

Social Distancing has a pretty tough requirement ahead, as players need to somehow reach Round 20 without getting hit once. That’s not an easy feat by any means, especially on Terminus, where Parasites will spit acid, and across all maps where Manglers shoot a tracking blast from their cannons.

Acquiring Social Distancing isn’t easy, but Liberty Falls is perhaps the best chance players will have due to its open spaces. attempt to focus on getting through rounds with scorestreaks to avoid actually being on the ground for combat, and focus on devastatingweapons like the Sally & Forthfor hard hits on enemies before they can get too close.

6Good Enough

Reach Round 20 With Your Starting Loadout and No Augments or Upgrades

Good Enough is a pretty ruthless Dark Ops challenge that will require players to reach Round 20 with nothing but their starting loadout. That also includes not having a single Augment, nor using any Perk-a-Colas, any Ammo Mods, or any Field Upgrades—the bare basics only.

For Good Enough, try to bring a weapon like the GS35, as although players cannot get PhD Flopper, they can still maintain distance and shoot their enemies. It’s also a good idea to build the Jet Gun to suck up hostile zombies instantly and remember, it’s still okay to buy armor.

5Kunoichi

Kill 3 Zombies, 2 Special Zombies, 1 Elite Zombie, With 1 Aether Shroud’s Void Sheath

Kunoichi is going to require players to use the Aether Shroud Field Upgrade, and with it, to kill 3 zombies, 2 special zombies (Manglers), and 1 elite zombie (Amalgam or Abomination) all in one go, which with regular use of Aether Shroud, that’s just 8 seconds.

However, this is relatively easy to get with the right setup. Firstly, it’s best to do this in Terminus as the Amalgam can be hit with melee weapons as opposed to the hulking monster of the Abomination on Liberty Falls. Now, players should have Melee Macchiato and their melee weapon upgraded with Pack-a-Punch, to then activate Aether Shroud and extend its timerthrough Void Sheathto kill the total 6 enemies.

using melee macchiato

4Sticks N’ Stones

Reach Round 25 in Solo With Only Melee Weapons and Melee Macchiato

With Sticks N’ Stones, players can only run through a match of Zombies with the melee weapons, Melee Macchiato, and a Combat Axe. Anything else disqualifies players until the next match, so working without Perks might be a struggle, but with the right Augments on Melee Macchiato, it’s time to punch everything that moves.

Killing zombies and special zombies with a Pack-a-Punched knife isn’t going to be too hard, but Abominations might be a tad tricky. It’s wise not to do this on Terminus as trying to melee attack flying Parasites and being grabbed by Amalgams is just a recipe for disaster.

another round calling card

3Another Round?

Reach Round 100 in a Match

Another Round is a true showcase of the championship, as players need to put their very best skills intoreaching Round 100on any map. While players can do this in any lobby and save their game and come back to it at a later date, it’s still not going to be easy.

Liberty Falls is the best map to do this on thanks to the slow speed of elite zombies and the relatively easier visuals of the map itself. Scorestreaks and the Jet Gun are really going to help with this challenge, as Round 100 is a thing that not many are brave enough or patient enough to reach.

2Terminal

Complete the Terminus Main Quest After Round 50

Out of Terminus and Liberty Falls, the former definitely has the harder easter egg to complete. The main quest has quite a few steps, and a boss fight that’s up there with some of the best, but also some of the hardest. However, to make things more challenging, this has to be done after Round 50.

Luckily for players,Patient 13 has a health cap, so while zombies will get stronger, the main boss will not. It’s a good idea to get all the steps done early on so players can access the boss room after round 50, and the best loadout would consist of Aether Shroud for evasion and easy damage, along with the GS45 Akimbo for high damage.

1Liberated

Complete the Liberty Falls Main Quest Within 30 Minutes

Unlike the Terminal Dark Ops that needs to be completed after Round 50, Liberated requires players tocomplete the Liberty Falls easter egg main questwithin 30 minutes. Most players aren’t attuned to speed running tactics, and completing the easter egg within that time frame isn’t exactly going to be easy.

Players will want to keep a timer at the ready and memorize the easter egg steps so that they can get in and out with all of the things they need. From getting the Jet Gun to acquiring the Aether Canisters, speed is everything for this Dark Ops challenge.
