Unfortunately, they were forced to end their friendship by the elders. Following the split, Hashirama and Madara became fierce rivals. They fought each other multiple times before finally reaching a ceasefire.
Hashirama and Madara founded the Hidden Leaf. However, the peace didn’t last for long, as Madara was manipulated by Zetsu, prompting the former to leave and declare war against the Hidden Leaf. Madara and Hashirama fought one last time in the Valley of End, and the Senju emerged as the victor.What makes Hashirama andMadara’s rivalry better than most is that it is more emotional and raw. The two transitioned from friends to enemies, then back to friends before becoming enemies again. This rivalry is similar to Naruto and Sasuke’s, but it just has a bit more zing.

From a young age, Kakashi was treated as a genius. He passed the tests at the Academy with flying colors and even became the youngest Jonin in the history of the Hidden Leaf.Obito Uchiha was on the other endof the spectrum. He wasn’t nearly as talented as Kakashi, and he often struggled in fights. Despite the difference in their skills, the rivalry continued.
With time, Obito reduced the gap significantly. He learned to control his Mangekyou Sharingan while also mastering the use of Hashirama’s cells. The two came face-to-face during the Fourth Great Ninja War and engaged in an epic fight. It was clear that they were both emotionally overwhelmed, but neither wanted to let up.
Kakashi and Obito’s rivalry highlights two separate ideologies that each of them was brought up with. As a kid, Obito was kinder and valued his friends over everything else. On the other hand,Kakashi was selfish and onlycared about successfully completing his missions. Surprisingly, the two developed different beliefs as adults. Kakashi became kinder and someone who believed in friendship. He was ready to sacrifice himself for his friends and teammates. Obito grew up to be a ruthless and malevolent individual who only cared about the Tsuki no Me. To see them fighting years later for different things was astounding. This rivalry has more layers to it than Naruto vs. Sasuke, which is why it is better.

Kakashi wasn’t just rivals with Obito, but he also shared an intense competition with Might Guy. When they were young, Kakashi didn’t see Guy as a competitor, but his father warned him not to underestimate him.
Sakumo was proven right as Guy grew up to be stronger than Kakashi.Might Guy mastered the Eight Inner Gates andused them to take down many noteworthy opponents. The highlight of Kakashi and Guy’s rivalry was the humor. They consistently challenged each other, but they did so without any malice. Guy and Kakashi respected each other, and they never did anything that would harm the other person. Just for this reason alone, this particular rivalry tops most in Naruto.
