Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Campaign Ending Explained
In the final set of missions inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6’s campaign, players take control of William “Case” Calderon once again, the faceless member ofWoods' rogue black ops team. As Case, players must fend off an onslaught of Pantheon soldiers who have found the black ops team’s safe house in Bulgaria. The battle culminates in Pantheon’s leader, Jane Harrow, attempting to flee on a helicopter.
Case boards the helicopter right as it lifts off, and a frantic melee occurs in the air between Case and the soldiers inside. With the soldiers dispatched, Case turns his attention to Harrow, and the two duke it out. During their fight, the helicopter’s pilot is killed, and they begin their rapid descent into the water below.
Earlier in the campaign, it’s revealed that Case was the first test subject for aCIA-developed bioweapon called “The Cradle.” This bioweapon increases the user’s strength and agility, but also greatly increases their aggression. In the helicopter, Case allows themselves to be consumed by the Cradle, using their aggression to strangle Harrow while the helicopter continues to take on water.
The screen then fades to black. The voice of fellow black ops team member Marshall can be heard, stating that they’ve managed to save the Capitol building from being attacked by The Pantheon.
