Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Call for Iconic Maps to Return

Call of Dutyfans have already discovered references to aWorld at Warmap withinBlack Ops 6, but now players are calling for a plethora of iconic maps to make a return. In a new Reddit post from CafecitoDulce, which has accumulated 7,000 upvotes at the time of writing, the user put forward Grid, WMD, Summit, Firing Range, Berlin Wall, Radiation, Kowloon, Array, and Jungle as the maps that should be remastered duringBlack Ops 6’s life cycle. Given the huge amount of upvotes the post has received in less than 24 hours, it looks like the community agrees.

While some fans are all forclassicBlack Opsmaps making a return, others believeCall of Dutydevelopers shouldn’t rely so heavily on remasters every year. “I just hate how we always defer to classic and well designed maps. Why can’t they ever come out with potential new classics?” Reddit userStrawberrySuperb9229said. Others, such asLispro4units, said they would be “the happiest person ever” if numerousBlack Ops 1and2maps received their very own playlist inBlack Ops 6.

So far, Treyarch has yet to confirm if any remastered maps will be included withBlack Ops 6Season 1, but the studio did tease even more maps for the mid-season update.Taking to Twitter, Treyarch said, “More maps coming mid-season, too” after revealing the three new maps coming with Season 1. But for those looking to get their fix before the game’s upcoming season, Treyarch did bring back one ofCall of Duty’s most iconic maps earlier this month: Nuketown.
