Activision has given fans a look at three new multiplayer maps coming toBlack Ops 6with Season 1. Now, exact release dates for these maps have not been announced. It’s possible all of them will be addedwhen Season 1 goes liveon November 14, but it’s also possible that they will be spread throughout the season. Regardless,Black Ops 6fans can look forward to two new core multiplayer maps, Hideout and Extraction, and a new Strike multiplayer map, Heirloom.

New Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Maps for Season 1

Black Ops 6Strike maps can be used for 6v6 matches, but they are primarily built with2v2 Gunfightin mind. No matter what multiplayer game modeBlack Ops 6fans prefer, Season 1 will be delivering some fresh environments to battle it out on. The maps themselves look interesting, though fans will have to get their hands on them before drawing any final conclusions.

Extraction appears to take place at a coastal hangar, complete with helicopters, while Heirloom is set in a museum. Finally, Hideout appears to be set on a military base. TheexistingBlack Ops 6multiplayer mapsall have a great deal of personality, and it looks as though that design philosophy is carrying over to the Season 1 new additions.

Extraction, Heirloom, and Hideout aren’t the first post-launch maps to be added toCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. Fans of the game were just recently treated to the return of Nuketown, a fan favorite that first appeared in the originalBlack Opsfrom 2010. Nuketown’s debut coincided with aDouble XP weekend, so perhaps the same will hold true for the new maps added in Season 1.
