Launching on October 25,Call of Duty: Black Ops 6picks up after the events ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warand theBlack Opssquad’s showdown with Raul Menendez in the flashback sections ofBlack Ops 2.Black Ops 6will also mark the return of the round-based Zombies mode, and players can expect an expansive multiplayer experience with a classic Prestige system and Theater Mode. Like previousCall of Dutyiterations, Activision will host a beta forBlack Ops 6that will help the developers stress-test the servers and find any issues that can be fixed before the game’s launch.
Starting today, August 19, Xfinity Rewards members may redeem codes and gain early access totheCall of Duty: Black Ops 6open betabefore it begins on Friday, August 30. To obtain the early access code, users may log into their Xfinity account, visit the Xfinity app or the official Xfinity Rewards website, and select the listing for theBlack Ops 6beta. After receiving the code, users must then log into their Activision account and input their code atCall of Duty’sbeta redemption website (callofduty.com/betaredeem).Call of Dutyfans may select the platform they wish to play the open beta on, and their entry will be successfully registered after all the steps have been followed.

The early access period for theBlack Ops 6open beta will be held from August 30 to September 4. UnlikeCall of Duty:Modern Warfare 3’searly access beta, the early access period for theBlack Ops 6beta will be available on all platforms. Players will have another opportunity to play the open beta from September 6 to September 9, and those whopre-orderBlack Ops 6digitallywill automatically gain access to the beta.
