Popular streamers andCall of Dutyplayers like FaZe Clan’s Scope posted gameplay clips and videos ahead of the mod’s release, getting fans excited about the return of theoriginally canceledModern Warfare 2 Remasteredmultiplayer.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer Revived Through H2M Mod

According to its creators, H2M Mod is built on top ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare RemasteredrecreatingModern Warfare 2’s multiplayer modes and content, along with some “new twists.” Unlike a previous mod thataimed to restore theModern Warfare 2multiplayer usingBlack Ops 3, the H2M Mod is reportedly much closer to the classic experience. This is due to the fact that it’s built onModern Warfare Remastered, an officially developed game with the same common roots.

H2M Mod’s development team promises to use a progression system very similar to the classicModern Warfare 2multiplayer progression, but with some new additions to satisfy players used to contemporary systems. H2M Mod will have all the classicModern Warfare 2camos available, and add a few new ones, along with special animated versions. Classic calling cards and emblems fromModern Warfare 2will also return alongside the team’s additions. The mod will also retain all the originalModern Warfare 2multiplayer maps, the maps fromModern Warfare Remastered, and even several custom maps based on the remastered campaign.

Call of Dutyfans will have much to look forward to in the coming days, as the release of the H2M mod brings back a taste ofCall of Dutyas it used to be, just before the release of the upcomingCall of Duty: Black Ops 6.
