All Lovepurr Chronicles Book Locations in Cat Quest 3
In total, there arethree different Lovepurr Chronicles booksthat players must collect during their adventures. This means visiting various dungeons, vanquishing the enemies and dangers within, and coming out unscathed. Following that, you must bring everything toLovepurr Castleon Lovepurr Islands in the east to finish the final step of theside quest.
But before that, let’s start the book collecting.
Furrlorn Cave - Lovepurr Chronicles: Book One Location
Located on thewestern side of Purvanna, players will be able to find theFurrlorn Cave. Just look out for the spiked balls near the entrance, and you will know you are in the right place. Enter the dungeon, and instead of enemies, you will find several moving traps blocking your way, simply dodge and move through them, and it will lead you to Book One.
Lovepurr Cave - Lovepurr Chronicles: Book Two Location
Book Two of the Lovepurr Chronicles is actually just a stone’s throw away from the main quest location. TheLovepurr Caveis found on theisland of the same name, found at the northwestern tip. Enter the cave, and it will be familiar territory once more, with moving spiked traps blocking your progress. Take your time and move with precision, and Book Two will be yours for the taking.
Heartpurreak Cave - Lovepurr Chronicles: Book Three Location
This is the most difficult one to collect, as there are actual enemies within the dungeon that can easily end your existence. Head to theHeartpurreak Cave, located at theeastern end of the Twilight Isles.Making progress in the storyand leveling up will allow players to be more capable of tackling the surrounding areas.
You will start seeing pages in the waters once you get near. Enter the dungeon and keep moving until you catch the attention of a giant floating eye. A second one will join the fray, and the only way to eliminate them is to lead them along the path and let the spiked traps whittle down their health. Defeat both, and the path to Book Three will open.
Completing the Lovepurr Chronicles Side Quest in Cat Quest 3
With all three Lovepurr Chronicles books in hand, head to Lovepurr Castle and speak to Clawford. Each book will illustrate a different part of Clawford’s life with his love, Purrscilla, andchoosing the different optionswill result in different scenarios. For the straightforward path, choose the following options:
Book One
You will receive Clawford’s Hat for your troubles, which damages nearby enemies when you heal.
Doing so will reward players with Clawford’s Vest Armor.
Book Three
Completing this book will reward players with Clawford’s Hat once more, which will upgrade thegear item. This will also unlock the main door in the castle, which houses the regrets of Clawford, now manifested in physical form. To complete the quest, enter and fight this monstrous beast.
The boss is fond of leaping into the air and unleashing abarrage of charge attacks. This can be countered easily by getting behind him, and using ranged weapons to deal damage. If you have any of the shields, they can come in handy as well to block his attacks and deal significant damage at the same time. Do the same for hisswipe attacks, and Clawford will go down eventually.
Open the treasure chests nearby and you will get the Heartbreaker shield, and be sure to speak to Clawford outside to complete the quest and gain the Heartmender shield as well.
