Around Spring 17 inFields of Mistria, you can check out the Request Board near the General Store to find the ‘Request for a Catfish’side questfrom Hemlock (he’s usually around the Inn). He needs the catfish in particular for a special dish he’s working on. He’ll reward you with a recipe forBreaded Catfish. It’s not the most exciting thing for quest reward, but hey, being able to cook more types of food is always a good thing.

Of course, the first thing you’ll need before being able to get a Catfish is aFishing Rod. It doesn’t need to be fancy, but if you need help getting one, you canread this linkedFoMguide. For a quick rundown, you can get a rod by forging it at the Blacksmith or purchase it from the Tackle Shop on the Beach. The second method will cost you 500 Tesserae.

Catfish, Where are You?
To get right to it, you’re able to find Catfish all year round in thepondsof Mistria. We were able to find the perfect pond on the north side of town, left of the entrance to the Manor House (see above images).
There are other ponds around the map, but we managed to find a Catfish super quickly in this specific location. You should be on the lookout for a medium-sized fish.
Find Hemlock’s locationvia the map and gift the Catfish to the NPC. He’ll give you the recipe for Breaded Catfish (ensure to actually learn the recipe by interacting with it on your item bar).
You can cook the Breaded Catfish meal at a kitchen (there’s one at the Inn if you havent made your own yet at the Carpenter). However, you’ll need to increase your cooking level to 14 and haveFlourandOil(plus theCatfishitself).
