Days Gone Remasteredhas received its July patch that addresses a bunch of general in-game issues. An enhanced version of the 2019 PS4 original,Days Gone Remasteredwas launched on PS5 on July 25, 2025, alongside the Broken Road DLC on PC.
When Bend Studio releasedDays Gone Remastered, it gave the action-adventure title a major facelift with upgraded visuals and brand-new game modes, such as the Horde Assault mode. Since then, the devs have been tailoring the existing experience to further optimize it and resolve any possible bugs. In the process, the PlayStation-owned studio shipped out fivedifferentDays Gone Remasteredpatches, big and small, on both PS5 and PC over the past few months. Now, it turns out that the zombie action game has received yet another update, which is also its first in nearly a month.
Days Gone Remasteredhas now received its July update, Patch 1.036.178, bringing improvements to the PS5 version of the game. An identical update, Patch 1.13, was also dropped simultaneously for PC players ofDays Goneand its Broken Road DLC. Both these patch versions implement fixes for a variety of crashes, improve the game’s streaming performance, and incorporate updates related to translation. Interestingly, this minor patch is the fifth one delivered by Bend Studio sinceDays Gone Remasteredhit stores. Prior to this, the devs had rolled out two updates in each of the previous two months, with the last significant update coming on June 24.
The steady flow of patchesDays Gone Remasteredhas received since launch goes to show Bend Studio’s commitment towards the game. It may be worth noting that the latest update comes at achallenging time for the Sony first-party developer, which let go of 30 percent of its workforce on June 10. This decision came in the midst of the studio mapping out a fresh project after the cancellation of its live-service title earlier in 2025.
As Bend Studio continues to pursue its next game, a section of itsfans have their heart set on aDays Gonesequel. Even though hopes for a follow-up to Deacon’s escapades may not have been that high before, they have certainly shot up since the announcement of the remaster. Whether the IP gets another go or not in the future is something that fans may have to wait for quite some time to find out.
