Though there are plenty of examples, including arecentDestiny 2outfit that’s based on the Doom Slayer’s armoras he appears inDoom: The Dark Ages, one fan known online as Mother-Assistant-976 has shared their own custom Iron Man cosplay in the MMORPG. This particular fit uses Titan armor specifically, and does a fantastic job of capturing some of the Marvel superhero’s most iconic features, including the faceplate design and miniature arc reactor in the chest. This level of accuracy is actually thanks to some of the new armor ornament sets that were recently made available through the Eververse store, specifically the Vex Malware armor ornaments for Titans.

This Destiny 2 Player’s Iron Man Outfit Is Spot-On But Costly To Replicate

The outfit specifically uses the Vex Malware chest armor and legs, although this does make the outfit quite an expensive one to replicate, as these new armor ornaments can currently only be obtained as a set via Eververse for 1,500 Silver,Destiny 2’s premium currency, which can typically only be obtained with real money. Aside from those pieces, the outfit uses the Kabr’s Brazen Grips as the arms, the Darth Vader crossover Titan mark, and Techsec helm. While not explicitly stated by the creator of this outfit, it’s likely that they used a combination of Molten Bronze and House of Meyrin shaders across these armor pieces.

While many players like to create their own custom outfits based on other pop-culture characters, Bungie has been making things easier in recent years with many official crossovers with other franchises. Some official collaboration sets include armor based on designs fromMass Effect,Assassin’s Creed,The Witcher, and more.Destiny 2also features its ownStar-Warsoutfits, and is even receiving an entire expansion later this year which is based on the Lucasfilm franchise.
