The annual Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost event has returned toDestiny 2with a new legendary weapon, new ornament sets, and much more. Like previous Festival of the Lost events,Destiny 2players may wear festive masks and complete limited-time challenges to earn exclusive rewards.
Every Tuesday,Destiny 2receives a weekly reset that refreshes missions, challenges, and rewards. The weekly tradition continues inDestiny 2Episode: Revenantwith the October 29 update, which brings The Lightblade Nightfall strike with double rewards and more Revenant challenges. The update also marked the return of Festival of the Lost, soDestiny 2players have a lot of content to play through November 19.
TheDestiny 2Festival of the Lost eventreturns with Haunted Sectors, a playlist that sees Guardians team up to take on hordes of Headless Ones to earn Candy, weapons, Eerie Engrams, and Manifested Pages. Candy may be used to purchase exclusive in-game rewards like masks and focused weapons, including the new legendary heavy burst Arc shotgun, Arcane Embrace. Eerie Engrams may be opened for a variety of rewards or focused into Exotic armor and Festival of the Lost weapons. Those wanting to farm Eerie Engrams may play Expert Haunted Sectors, which have the chance to drop an additional Eerie Engram.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Returns With Several New Rewards
Manifested Pages may be used to complete chapters of the Book of the Forgotten, which is located next to Eva Levante at the Tower. Along with repeatable bounties, completing chapters of the Book of the Forgotten unlocks lore and additional rewards. Moreover, Eva is selling Exotic Class items to players who owntheDestiny 2: The Final Shapeexpansion. These items are available for 1 Eerie Engram and 2,500 Candy, and players may repurchase the gear in an attempt to find the best roll that suits their needs.
While playing in Haunted Sectors, players may complete challenges from the Festival of the Lost Event Card. The returning Superblack shader may be acquired by completing 15 challenges on the Event Card, which is the criteria for the Ghost Writer Event Challenge. Moreover, players may earn the Spectral Carapace emblem by focusing items or completingDestiny 2’sTwilight Triumph.
Players also have new Festival of the Lost-themed ornament sets to consider in the Eververse Store. Warlocks and Hunters have evil wizard ornaments, while Titans have a benevolent wizard ornament set. Lastly, Bungie is offering a new Headless Ones shirt in the Bungie Store through Bungie Rewards to players who complete the Haunted Sector Playlist Event Challenge before November 19 at 8:59 a.m. PT.
