Blizzard has revealed the patch notes for the nextDiablo 4update, which has been scheduled for July 29. Among other changes, the upcoming release promises to fix nearly two dozen bugs affecting variousDiablo 4systems.

Since the start of the month, Blizzard’s hit action RPG has received two patches. The first of them was theDiablo 4July 1 update, which bumped the game’s version number up to 2.3.0 and marked the beginning of Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim. Another minor update has now been confirmed for July 29. Identified by version number 2.3.2 and build number 67340, it is primarily geared toward tacklingDiablo 4bugs, as is typically the case with mid-season patches. The upcoming update addresses a wide variety of problems, ranging from broken boss encounters to progression blockers and missing rewards. Several issues within Season of the Horadrim, including unremovable quest items and socketing errors, will also be dealt with as part of the patch.

Bugs related toDiablo 4dungeonsreceived significant attention, with fixes targeting the Warmaster spawn in Maugan’s Works, the Hoiradric Reward Cache not dropping in some Nightmare scenarios, and the Sunken Library’s boss unreliable completion trigger. A number of affix-related issues will also be addressed by the upcoming update. Additionally, the July 29 patch will resolve a niche Echo of Lilith bug that prevented her second phase from triggering if her health dropped too quickly. A known problem with the Butcher getting stuck on Horadric loot chests introduced in Season 9 will be eliminated as well, together with an issue that inhibited players trying to reach the Guardian’s Lair in the Pit under specific circumstances.
