The Junction, SL700, inDonkey Kong Bananzais not your traditional layer, as it’s not that big, and it doesn’t have any Sublayers to explore, but there are still15 Banandium Gemsto find and get to fill DK’s rumbling tummy. Forget about getting to the Core –here’swhere to find all the bananas in SL700, The Junction, inDonkey Kong Bananza.
It’s worth noting that we cleaned up all the Banandium Gems in this layer afterwe completed the story and rolled credits. If there are any bananas on this list that are seemingly impossible for you to obtain, try finishing the game and coming back later.

Banana #1 - Freezer Path’s Special Scoop
Go to the top of the cold section of the Junction, and you’ll find a Banandium Gem behind a snow sculpture.
Banana #2 - Cooled Off Inflammonite
Once you beat Inflammonite in the Freezer Layer, you’ll return to The Junction and some Banandium Gems will be waiting for DK to gobble up.
Banana #3 - Freezer Path’s Hidden Snack
If you go on the frozen side of The Junction, take the lower path, and you’ll see a breakable wall to your left that can be destroyed by the machines aiming DK down. Trick the laser beams to shoot the wall to reveal a hidden Banana.
Banana #4 - Shifty Smash: Freezer Path
Head towards the icy section of the layer and take the lower path to find a mud path with lasers pointed at you. Go to the end of the path to find one of thosemystery pyramid things. Smack it and complete the challenge to earn yourself a Banandium Gem. You’ll have 20 seconds to destroy the cubes that appear.
Banana #5 - Forest Path’s Birdbrain
Near the Forest Bridge checkpoint, head up to the top of the cliff to find a snake statue. You can break its head apart to find a hidden Banandium Gem.
Banana #6 - Uprooted Abracajabya
After you leave the Forest Layer and beat Abracajabya, you’ll get yourself three Banandium Gems as soon as you land in The Junction.
Banana #7 - Forest Path’s Hidden Snack
From the Clash Point checkpoint, go towards the Forest area, but stay on the lower path leading to the missiles. You can lead them to the rock wall to destroy it, revealing a banana, but it’s behind a gate.
You can reach it by climbing the wall to the left and shimmying your way around to the Gem.
Banana #8 - Shifty Smash: Forest Path
Head to the forest path, but stay on the lower end, and go past the missiles and thorns to find one of the pyramid objects you can hit to start a challenge. Destroy the cubes within 20 seconds to earn another Banandium Gem. Make sure to use the lasers to your advantage!
Remember that you can slap the ground with the R button to get a look at nearby collectibles. You can also upgrade your Sonar power in theSkills tree by unlocking more Banandium Gems. Be on the lookout for treasure chests, too, as they can contain maps leading DK to Fossils and new Bananas.
Banana #9 - Cleared the Way to Clash Point
You’ll find a Banandium Gem out in the open once you reach the Clash Point checkpoint.
Banana #10 - Clash Point’s Hidden Snack
If you’re standing at the Clash Point fast travel checkpoint, drop off the edge near the two talking Fractones. You’ll see a cube sticking out that you can stand on, which leads to a hidden cave with a smashable wall and a Banandium Gem.
Banana #11 - Battle: A Fiery Fracas
You can find the Junction Battle Challenge 1 near the Warp Gong. If you are facing the gong from the open, walk over to the right side of the structure before you to find a challenge room blocked by rocks. You can pay the Constructone 600 Gold to unblock it.
Banana #12, 13, and 14
You will find a blocked-off challenge room near the Warp Gong. Pay the nearby Constructone 1000 Gold to access it. There will be three Banandium Gems to collect in theCrossing Through Crosshairs challengecourse.
Banana #15 - Cranky’s Junction Rant
In the main area with the Warp Gong, you can see Cranky Kong andRambion platforms way up in the air. If you stand on the platform next to the Clash Point checkpoint, you should be able to bring them down by tossing rocks.
