Donkey Kong Bananza’s Canyon Layer is vast and packed with secrets to find, making it pretty daunting for anyone hoping to 100% the game (and anyone trying to list every Banandium Gem, for that matter). This guide will focus on showing how to hunt down every last Banandium Gem available in Canyon Layer SL300.

SinceDonkey Kong Bananzaheavily emphasizes vertical movement in its level design, some of these Banandium Gems will require players to traverse SL301 before blasting back up into SL300 before they can be reached.

11 - Battle: Exploding Pork Platoon

To claim this next Banandium Gem, you’ll need to clear out a battle challenge found at the spot shown above. If you’re having trouble with their charging attacks, try hitting them with terrain or throwing it at them instead.

12 - Spinning in the Stone Pillar

(See the images above.)

15 - Sunken and Soaking

This one is submerged in the same cave as 14, near a flattened fractone. Check the pool of water nearby to find it.

17 - Kaboom the Hidden Room

After dropping through a hole in the floor to continue through the Thorny Blast Cave Challenge, you should look behind you to find a wall of thorns with explosives dotted throughout. If you throw a chunk of terrain to detonate the explosives, they’ll clear a path for you to climb along, leading to a hidden room with a Banandium Gem.

If you move clockwise through the tunnels and keep an eye out, you’ll find most of them pretty easily. The one disguised as explosive terrain is particularly devious.

51 - Proximity Punching

If you make your way down below Mechaneck Isle (in roughly the spot shown on the map above) you can reach a hidden area with a punching bag switch. Hitting it will move the platform a Banandium Gem is hanging from closer toward you, so you’ll need to punch until you can reach it, then quickly jump up and smash it before it returns to its original position.

52 - Bust Through the Giraffe’s Spot
