In a game filled with fully-trained Super Saiyan warriors, alien conquerors, nightmarish androids, and world-destroying deities, one ofDragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s most overpowered combatants is actually one of the weaker characters in theDragon Balllore. Yajirobe doesn’t particularly rank high among thestrongestDragon Ballfighters, butSparking Zeroplayers have found him to be a force to be reckoned with thanks to only costing two Destruction Points to add to a team in Ranked mode and his ability to heal himself using Senzu Beans.
It seems that even Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft are aware of how overpowered Yajirobe is, as thelatestDragon Ball: Sparking Zeropatch is adding nerfs to him. As pointed out by Twitter user LotusAsakura and reported byDextero, Yajirobe still costs only two Destruction Points, but his healing Senzu Bean ability now requires six Skill Count points instead of five, he starts the match with no Skill Count points instead of two, and his health has been reduced to two and a half bars (whereas he had three bars before).

Yajirobe’s power level isn’t the only thing being tweaked in this newDragon Ball: Sparking Zeroupdate.Sparking Zerogives older fans the option of playing with a Classic control scheme reminiscent of theoriginalDragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichigames, but some have reported unresponsive controls during online matches. Additionally, some of the more difficult Episode Battle fights have been adjusted to be less punishing when the Reduced Difficulty setting is enabled, and overall stability has been improved.
As a drawback, Replay Data of all battles, including Custom Battle World Library replays will be deleted when the latestDragon Ball: Sparking Zeroupdate is installed. Bandai Namco has also stated that it is looking into other major issues still plaguing the game, such assave data being corruptedwhen the player turns off their console. Despite these issues,Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerois still enjoying rave reviews and strong sales since it first launched earlier this month.
