At some point inDisney Pixel RPG, you may find that even a maxed-out team struggles against end-game bosses. To overcome this challenge, you’ll need to enhance your team’s DEF and ATK with a rare upgrade material:Boost Cube.
Boost Cubes are challenging to farm since they are intended for end-game content. However, if you have confidence in your current units, there’s a method to farm these cubes. Even if your team isn’t that strong, this guide will reveal a foolproof way to obtain as many Boost Cubes as you desire—provided you’re willing to spend some resources.
ATK & DEF Boost Cubes Explained
InDisney Pixel RPG, Boost Cubes are valuable upgrade materials that allow you to enhance a character’s ATK or DEF stat. Unlike other upgrade methods, such as character level-ups, rarity-ups, and limit breaks, the enhancements provided by Boost Cubes are RNG-free—meaning the result is consistent and predictable.
Each time you invest ATK or DEF Boost Cubes into a character, their corresponding stat increases by +4 power. For instance, if your unit’s ATK is 895, using one Boost Cube will raise it to 899. However, keep in mind that you’re able to apply this buff up to seven times per character, and the requirement for Boost Cubes increases with each subsequent upgrade.
How to Get Boost Cubes
The only way to get ATK and DEF Boost Cubes inDisney Pixel RPGis by defeating stages on Hard mode. Enemies in this mode have a small chance of dropping Boost Cubes, making the Auto-clear function a practical option for farming.
However, it’s important to note that farming Boost Cubes is not guaranteed. The drops from enemies are random, so after each Hard stage completion, there’s only a slight chance that your rewards will include ATK or DEF upgrade materials.
During the Battle Challenge,Disney Pixel RPG’s first official event, you could exchange the points you earn from beating boss levels with ATK or DEF Cubes.
How to Passively Earn Boost Cubes
One alternative for gaining additional Boost Cubes inDisney Pixel RPGis to set up Expeditions. In this mode, you’re able to send three of your characters on a journey lasting up to 20 hours. When they return, there’s a chance they will yield ATK or DEF Boost Cubes as rewards.
However, keep in mind that this method is effective only in the second Expedition stage, Zootopia. The other stage, Princess Saga: Aurora, is better suited forfarming Upgrade Pixelsand Pix rather than Cubes.
You need to end each Expedition and collect the rewards manually. Also, note that the characters you use in these journeys will remain available in the battle mode and campaign.
How to Purchase Extra Boost Cubes
You can purchase unlimited ATK and DEF Boost Cubes in the Shop for 150 Pix each. To find this option, go to the main menu, select the Shops, and thenchoose the Pix tab. This method is the most reliable way to acquire Boost Cubes, as there are no restrictions. As long as you have enough Pix, you can exchange them for this valuable upgrade material.
Are Boost Cubes Worth It?
Considering the minimal buffs Boost Cubes provide, they may not be worth the grind or the cost. You’ll achievebetter stat enhancementsby using Customization Seeds in the Ability Customization menu, and your characters’ ATK and DEF will increase as you level them up.
Think of Boost Cubes as an end-game option for maximizing your characters. If you’re still in the process ofleveling up your team, investing time or money in these singular stat buffs would be a waste.
