How to Cure Every Status Ailment in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Every status effect needs to fully fill the icon in the center of the screen before taking effect. All of the items listed below canboth cure a status effect that has taken effect, or get rid of the buildupand stop it from happening in the first place. Not adding to any status effect will have the icon drain naturally over time, avoiding the status effect, with each status effect also recovering naturally as long as you’re able to survive long enough.

Topaz Lotus Seeds, Cornucopia Elixir

Blight

Emerald Lotus Seeds, Cornucopia Elixir (this ailment can’t be cured once it takes effect, as you immediately die once the icon fills)

Resting at a shrine also heals any status effect.

You can only have four items equipped on your hotbar at a time, but you can also go into your inventory whenever to use any item you are carrying. Since opening the menu doesn’t pause the game, you’ll want to equip at least one of these items in your hotbar once you know the general effect of the area you’re in. While there are a few exceptions, most areas will have enemies or environmental effects that all cause the same status ailment. Most of the items listed above can be purchased at merchants, so you’ll want to stock up on a few to always have the option of using one if needed.

Elemental Resistances

Every piece of armor also haselemental resistances, making it harder for various status ailments to go into effect. There are also many items that can be consumed to temporarily reduce how much build-up a status ailment can get on Wuchang, though these items don’t affect any build-up already done.
