Summary
AFallout 4player has recently shared a video in which they fast-travel to a location in the Commonwealth, only to die in a few seconds. Fast-travel is generally safe inFallout 4, but the game has a few locations where players can be swarmed by enemies and not have enough time to react.
Originally released in 2015,Fallout 4is going through a sort of renaissance in 2024. After the debut of the widely praisedFalloutTV show,Fallout 4has seen a huge surge in players, and some of them are rediscovering some of the dangers of the Commonwealth in the most hilarious ways.
Now, an unluckyFallout 4player called Kay-San-TheNorthStar has shared a 14-second clip showing their latest misfortune while playing the open-world game. In the short video, it’s possible to see Kay-San-TheNorthStar fast-traveling to the West Roxbury Station, only to be exploded by a Suicider Mutant in less than four seconds. While there are many dangerous places in the Commonwealth, West Roxbury Station is among the worst ones for fast-travel, as it has three Super Mutants armed with nukes near the spawning point.
Fallout 4 Player Fast-Travels Straight Into Their Death
While fast-travel can be useful, it can also be ahilarious way to die inFallout 4, and some other players shared their similar stories in the comments of Kay-San-TheNorthStar’s post. One gamer, for instance, recalled that they fast-travel to West Roxbury Station at least once per playthrough, always forgetting why it’s a bad idea until it’s too late. Others told Kay-San-TheNorthStar that essentially the only way to escape from death there is by entering VATS before the loading screen even fully loads.
This is just one of the many bizarre deaths thatFallout 4players have had recently. Last year, a gamer uncoveredan instant death spot inFallout 4. This person discovered that there was a missing water zone near the ruins of Forest Grove Marsh and that jumping into the river from a certain spot would lead to immediate death, as there would be no water to prevent the fall damage.
Some other deaths, however, are very unfortunate, as they are a combination of bad luck with playing in high difficulties. For example, oneFallout 4player died in Survival Modewhen a car suddenly glitched and crushed them. While it’s a somewhat amusing situation, this gamer lost 30 minutes of progress in Survival Mode, which is a huge play time to lose due to a random bug.
