Fallout 76’s Gleaming Depths Update Will End 2024 With a Bang

After a year’s worth of significant updates, there’s still one more major content update planned forFallout 76coming in 2024 that will end this year with a bang:the Gleaming Depths update, coming sometime in December. This update will introduce what already looks like the hardest endgame content to date, in addition to 4-star Legendary gear, Season 19, tons of QoL features, and another round of balancing changes.

Fallout 76’s Gleaming Depths Raid Is the Ultimate Endgame Activity

The upcoming Gleaming Depths Raid aims to be the ultimate endgame experience, requiring expert buildcrafting and teamwork, and any players who are tough enough to complete all or parts of this new Raid are sure to be rewarded. Among some of the rewards, players can expect to earn the new 4-star Legendary gear from this raid.

Based on what’s been shown so far, the4-star Legendaries coming toFallout 76in the Gleaming Depths update will forever change the meta. This feature was initially announced forFallout 76’s 2021 roadmap, but it never made it into the game, so 4-star Legendaries finally being introduced later this year has been a long time coming, especially after all the recent balancing changes to weapons, armor, and Legendary effects.

The new 4-star Legendary gear inFallout 76can also be earned outside of the Raid, from 4-star Legendary enemies that spawn naturally throughout the world.

Fallout 76’s Season 19 Scoreboard Brings Back a Fan-Favorite Faction

The Enclave is an iconic, returning faction throughout theFalloutfranchise games, yet unlike other fan-favoriteFalloutfactions like the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave has a limited presence inFallout 76. However, this is expected to change withthe Gleaming Depths update and the Season 19 Scoreboard. Not only will players be able to decorate their armor, weapons, and CAMPs with Enclave-themed gear, but the Gleaming Depths Raid is also expected to shed new light on this faction’s lore.
