The official sources did not provide a reason, but the break was likely taken because the animereached the end of Bartholomew Kuma’s flashback, which was rather emotional. Some fans were understandably upset with the decision because it’s not the first time the One Piece anime has taken a week-long break.
However, there is no need to fret. The anime is only taking breaks to give the staff a breather. In the past, it may have seemed odd because the quality of animation wasn’t as good and the episodes were filled with unnecessary fillers, but now the anime is outperforming seasonal titles. Every single episode genuinely feels like a contender for the best animated episode of the year.
So, the staff working on the anime deserve all the rest that they can get. This will ensure that the quality stays high and doesn’t suffer from a massive dip. If the anime keeps the momentum going, then it couldactually beat seasonal anime like Solo Leveling, My Hero Academia, and The Apothecary Diaries without any problems.
One Piece Episode 1137 Will Be Released On July 24, 2025
Once the break is over, One Piece Episode 1137 will be released on July 29, 2025. The anime will return with new episodes from the Egghead arc, which is the first arc in the Final Saga of One Piece. The arc is primarily focused on the events on Egghead Island, the home of Dr. Vegapunk. The scientist became atarget of the World Government’s wrathafter he dabbled in the forbidden. As a man of science, Vegapunk couldn’t hold back his curiosity, which led to him going against the wishes of the World Government.
Unfortunately, the Gorosei found out about Vegapunk’s transgressions and decided to exterminate him. The Gorosei sent CP0 agents to deal with Vegapunk, but they failed to take out the scientist because of the Straw Hat Pirates. The pirates reached the island accidentally, and after some initial trouble, they got along with Vegapunk and his satellites. After foiling CP0, the Straw Hats dealt with York, who programmed the Seraphim to kill everyone on the island.
One Piece Episode 1137 Will Reveal The Strength Of Saint Jaygarcia Saturn
One Piece Episode 1137 will finally reveal the true power of Jaygarcia Saturn. Previously, the Godhead revealed his Yokai form, in which he resembles a Gyuki. Jaygarcia Saturn gains multiple sharp appendages, with which he can easily kill a person.
He also has kinetic power that allows him to stop a person from moving. He can use this ability to make his opponents completely defenseless and pick them off at his leisure.Furthermore, Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn has the abilityto regenerate from all sorts of damage, which effectively makes him immortal. All these abilities are truly powerful and make him seem invincible, but there’s always a weakness. It will be up to Luffy and his friends to figure out a way to bypass the Godhead’s defenses and save all the Vegapunks.
