Fear the Spotlighttells the story of two friends, Amy and Vivian, who share an interest in the Occult. A Planchette experiment in the School Library transports them to an alternate reality as they get separated and go on a quest to reunite with each other. The first part of the story plays out through Vivan’s eyes, and players have to free Amy from the clutches of the Spotlight Head.
Once you manage tobeat the final boss as Vivian, you can start over and play the game through Amy’s perspective. Amy’s Story inFear the Spotlightis much more puzzling, requiring you to think on your feet and create a mental map of your surroundings as you navigate a twisted version of her childhood home. How to Find the Tarot Cards in Fear the Spotlight
Most of Amy’s Story inFear the Spotlightoccurs in her childhood home. After escaping the Library following the Planchette incident, you’ll be transported to your Amy’s home. But the exit is blocked off with a weird lock requiring a Moon and a Star Medallion for you to progress.
After clearing out the tasks at the lower level and finding all the required items for the Prayer Alter,including the Saints Statue, you may access the home’s second level. On the second level, you’ll find two locked doors, after which you’ll have to sneak past a Spotlight hanging in the living room. Eventually, you’ll arrive at a door that you can go through. This is Amy’s Dad’s Office.
You’ll see a Closet on one side of the room. Go to it, move the clothes out of the way, and use the Hammer to break the wooden planks. At one point, the Ghost Lady will enter the room. Stop breaking the planks at that point and wait for her to leave. Once she goes away, you may break the rest of the planks. Now, you can enter Amy’s Bedroom. Take a moment to explore Amy’s Bedroom. You’ll find the table she used for Tarot Card Reading near the bed. But to use it, you’ll have to find the Red and Blue Tarot Cards.
How to Find Red Tarot Cards
Interact with the Gamepal on the desk in Amy’s Bedroom and remove the batteries. Then, head back to Dad’s Office and put them into the Radio. When you interact with the nearby Bookshelf, Amy will say that most of these are blue albums. Check the different radio stations and note that the Blues Express is 93.9 FM. This will come in handy later.
From Amy’s Bedroom, head to the window and use the Hammer to remove the boards blocking it. Go out and through the open window on the left. Avoid walking into the Spotlight’s beam coming through the windows. This is Jun’s Bathroom. Check the Tub to see that it’s filled with black goop. You’ll need to find a way to drain it.
Interact with the Glitch on the sink to get a Voicemail on your phone.
Exit the Bathroom through the door and arrive at Jun’s Bedroom. There’s a table with a Computer and a locked Briefcase. Interact with the Computer Screen and note that Jun set his dad’s favorite radio station as the password. Set the combination to 9-3-9 to unlock the Briefcase and pick up the Clock Pendulum.
Unlock the main entrance to Jun’s Bedroom and head back downstairs. You’ll have to make your way back to the Basement now. But when you go back down to the Living Room, you’ll find that the door to the Basement is blocked off with chains and a lock. But first, you’ll have to take care of the Spotlight that’s hanging on the ceiling.
The Spotlight is held by three ropes around the Living Room. You’ll have to interact with each rope and untie it to drop the Spotlight. You’ll even get an achievement for it. ensure you take your time and avoid the Spotlight’s Beam as you move around the room. With the Spotlight destroyed, use your Lockpick on the Basement Door’s lock and interact with the Water Valve. Turn it off and go back to Jun’s Bathroom through the Bedroom. You can now reach into the Tub’s drain and pick up the Red Tarot Cards.
How to Find Blue Tarot Cards
Thankfully, the Blue Tarot Card is pretty easy to get. Once you’ve got the Clock Pendulum, head back to Dad’s Office and interact with the Grandfather Clock in the room. Use the Hammer to break the glass and insert the Clock Pendulum. This will open a hidden compartment in the clock holding the Blue Tarot Cards.
Tarot Card Puzzle Solution in Fear the Spotlight
After getting your hands on the Red and Blue Tarot Cards, return to Amy’s Bedroom and interact with the Tarot Card Table. Place the Blue Tarot Cards on the blue side and the Red Tarot Cards on the red side.
You’ll see two words come up on the card in the middle. You must combine two cards from the Red and Blue Tarot Cards to solve the puzzle. Here’s the solution to this puzzle:

Eventually, you’ll be left with only one card, Liberation. Place it on the empty slot above the table to pick up the Chrissy Doll. Play through the game normally, and at one point, you’ll find yourselfback in the Theaterin front of Vivian.
