The brief montage of moments from the game includes Cloud and Sephiroth arriving in Nibelheim inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s opening flashback, Barret wandering in a cave while drenched in reflective water, a dragon threatening the party with a glowing lava blast, and Cloud journeying through a variety of impressively rendered landscapes.

To coincide with the PlayStation 5 Pro’s launch, anew update patch forFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthhas also been released. Version 1.050 adds a new Versatility Mode, which was made specifically for the PS5 Pro and combines the 60 FPS of the existing Performance Mode with PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution for optimized rendering and a higher display resolution on par with Graphics Mode. The PS5 Pro’s High CPU Frequency Mode is also being used to provide a more stable framerate throughout the game.
