In a new interview on the officialPlayStation Blog, the game’s director, Kazutoyo Maehiro, confirmed that some NPCs inFinal Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicleswill have additional dialogue in battle, helping to flesh out the story and its characters even further. This addresses one longstanding complaint aboutFinal Fantasy Tactics, as many who played the original often commented on the lack of meaningful dialogue after recruiting characters to the party. “While sending them into specific battles, characters like Agrias, Cid, and Mustadio speak considerably more,” Maehiro revealed.The Ivalice Chronicleshas also seen changes to the script, as writer Yasumi Matsuno recently confirmed that some alterations were made to account for the title’s addition of voice acting.
