But despite launching as one of thescariestFive Nights at Freddy’sgames, it hasn’t been devoid of post-launch bugs, and Mega Cat has already produced three hotfixes to try to shore up those issues, with the two most recent hitting the game on August 9. The Version 1.0.3.0 Notes show the developers have resolved a major issue that had been blocking some players from calling mom from the pause menu, as well as addressing some text and accessibility issues, such as fixing text overflow in some fonts and languages and repairing a bug that was preventing some text from taking advantage of the game’s Dyslexic accessibility function.

Those aren’t the only changes made to the new game, which tracesFive Nights at Freddy’sloreback to its roots. Released earlier the same day, the Version 1.0.2.0 Notes also addressed one major issue that had sometimes been causing main character Oswald to disappear after a jumpscare. That set of patches also addressed some more minor issues, such as a graphical issue that was causing the eyes on the “Yellow Rabbit” character to not properly glow blue, as well as cleaning up some user interface issues, including improvements to spacing for SkeeBall in some languages and fonts.

In addition to the fixes made by the recent patch, the Hotfix Notes also point out several known issues with the game. These known issues include some game-breaking errors, such as inputs sometimes not working on the main menu, the menu becoming accessible after pausing the game, and a couple of different issues that can cause the game to softlock. While Mega Cat works on solving these problems,Five Nights at Freddy’sfans have been having a massive month, which has included the release ofMyPopgoes, the demo of racing gameFive Laps at Freddy’s, and the release of a free interactive novel.
