Fortniteis finally adding Cyborg to itsTeen Titansline-up, filling out the main roster from the classic 2003 cartoon in the process. WhileFortnitedoesn’t have nearly as many DC character skins as it does for Marvel, iconic heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman have graced the Island to punish evildoers over the years. The most recentFortnitecrossover with DC was in honor of this month’sSupermanmovie, with the Man of Steel getting a pair of silver-screen-inspired new looks and Krypto the Superdog arriving to lend a helping paw to anyone offering him treats.

Meanwhile, the Teen Titans have seen plenty of representation inFortnite, with Raven and Beast Boy being the first to appear in 2021. Raven, in particular, received three different skins inspired by herRebirthcostume, her classic attire, and a goth-style civilian outfit for her identity of Rachel Roth. Starfire then joined her teammates in September 2022, followed byTim Drake in both his Robinand Red Robin personas earlier this year. This left only one member of the 2003Teen Titanscartoon line-up, and now he is a part ofFortniteas well.

On July 20,Fortnitereleased its new Cyborg skinas part of Chapter 6 Season 3, and players can acquire it from the Item Shop for either 1,500 V-Bucks by itself or 1,700 V-Bucks as part of the new Cyborg Bundle. This version of Cyborg is largely themed after the one from the classic cartoon, with glowing blue panels on his head and arms. A LEGO version is also available to play as inLEGO Fortnite, and the designated bundle comes with a Cy’s Booster Pack Back Bling and a Booyah Emote.

Cyborg Joins the Rest of the Titans in Fortnite

As manyFortniteplayers and comic book fans have pointed out, Cyborg’s introduction doesn’t necessarily mean thatthe full 2003 Teen Titans teamis complete. After all, the RobinFortniteskin is based on Tim Drake rather than the original Dick Grayson, who helped found the team after parting ways with Batman and eventually adopted his Nightwing persona. Additionally, the only Raven skin currently available outside of a Battle Pass is her civilian attire, much to the dismay of those who would rather play as one of her superhero skins.

That isn’t to say thatFortnitewon’t add a new Raven or Nightwing skin in the future, especially with the apparentfocus on DC characters in Chapter 6 Season 3. In the meantime, fans who grew up watching Cyborg take down evil in either the oldTeen Titanscartoon or any of his later appearances in movies, television, and video games can purchase his newFortniteskin and jump into action alongside the otherTeen Titanscharacters when there’s trouble on the Island.
