Afterteasing the newFortniteseasonover the weekend, Epic Games has now confirmed when the battle royale’s next live event will take place. With rumors suggesting Remix Chapter 2 is set to debut on Saturday, November 2, it looks like the next live event will take place the day before, on Friday, November 1, according to Epic. In a new tweet on the game’s official Twitter account, the studio announced that the live event will be called Remix: The Prelude and will take place on November 1 at 3:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM ET / 10:30 PM GMT.
Details surrounding the event and the new season are currently sparse, but one thing fans can be certain of is thatFortnitewill be returning to the Chapter 2 islandwith the upcoming content update. Players were left worried after getting a sneak peek at Remix Chapter 2, as the short teaser trailer appeared to take place on the current Chapter 5 map. Epic would then go on to shut down the community’s concerns and confirm that the next season will return to the iconic map “with splashes of content from earliest seasons.”
