What Happened in the Fortnite Super Showdown Live Event?
The Super Showdown live event starts at Demon’s Domain, where Daigo floats up and lets all the Loopers know that it is his destiny to control the power of the mask. Daigo then absorbs the energy of the surrounding spires and unleashes a great energy beam into Demon’s Domain, completely destroying the POI to raise a giant tentacle from beneath the surface. In an attempt to control the tentacle, Daigo is smacked far beyond theFortress of Solitude, leaving it to the heroes of Supernova Academy to save the day.
The Loopers and the Supernova Academy heroes fight the tentacle until it’s ultimately destroyed, but three more sprout in the first one’s death. Before doom can beset the Battle Royale island,Superman arrivesto destroy the tentacles, giving a final smile before flying off the island to return to his own world. The Super Showdown live event didn’t exactly tease what awaits in Chapter 6 Season 4, but with Daigo defeated and giant tentacles underneath the island, there’s surely something creepy and crawly afoot.
