Summary
AGenshin Impactchart ranks the game’s five-star characters by the number of updates they have missed so far.Genshin Impactruns on a gacha-based system, meaning that players can acquire new characters and weapons by spending various resources on the game’s banners.
The most popular banner by far isGenshin Impact’s Limited Character Banner, which features a set of limited characters for approximately 21 days. HoYoverse’s banner re-run mechanic allows older characters to be featured on the limited banner, giving players another chance to pull for them. As the playable roster expands with each new version of the game, characters are less likely to appear in a re-run since every update features only four five-star units on the limited banner.
A Reddit user has shared an interesting chart showing which characters have skipped the most updates so far. The Cryo user Shenhe took the top spot on the list, with 13 consecutive updates without appearing on a banner. Her last banner appearance was over 500 days ago, and many fans claim that she’s one of the most neglectedfive-star characters inGenshin Impact. Some comments have pointed out that it took Shenhe over 440 days to receive her first re-run after she was released. Despite her few banner appearances, Shenhe is still considered one of the best Cryo users inGenshin Impact. She has a unique kit that revolves around having as many Cryo users in her party as possible.
Genshin Impact 5-star Waiting List for Version 5.0
She is closely followed by another Cryo user, Liyue’s half-qilin Adeptus, Ganyu. When she was released back in update 1.2, Ganyu was considered the strongestDPS character inGenshin Impact. Despite being released over 3 years ago, Ganyu is still an S-tier DPS unit due to her special Charged Attack.
The third character on the list, Sangonomiya Kokomi, has skipped 10 consecutive updates. At the time of her release, Kokomi’s kit seemed underwhelming to many players for a new five-star character, which is why many players decided not to pull for her. However, with the release of the Dendro element, Kokomi became one of the most powerfulBloom supports inGenshin Impact, thanks to her ability to apply Hydro damage constantly.
With nine skipped banners, the fourth spot is shared by two characters, Zhongli and Childe, who were symbolically released in the same update. Even though Zhongli was rumored to appear in theupcomingGenshin ImpactVersion 5.0, HoYoverse’s recent announcement revealed that Raiden Shogun will take his place on the upcoming limited banner.
