Summary
Genshin Impactis introducing two new Natlan tribes in Version 5.1, as a recent leak showcases the NPCs, Saurian mount, and World Boss connected to the Pyro tribe. While fans have always praisedGenshin Impactfor its world-building, the nations of Teyvat have largely followed a pattern since Inazuma. Each region had a main government, and an alternate faction to go alongside it. Inazuma had the Tri-Commission and Sangonomiya, Sumeru had the Akademiya and Aaru Village, while Fontaine had the Court and the Fortress of Meropide.
For the upcoming region of Natlan,Genshin Impactis taking a different approach altogether – both from a gameplay and story perspective. Instead of having a main government, power in Natlan is heavily decentralized, as the region is made up of six tribes that each bear their own agenda. The first three Natlan tribes will debut in Version 5.0, with each having its own corresponding character, while theupcoming Natlan map expansionswill introduce the Anemo and Pyro tribes in Version 5.1, and lastly, the Electro tribe in Version 5.2.
Information about the Pyro tribe wasshared by snezhfedon theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit, with the image showing its NPCs, world boss, and Saurian mount. The Pyro tribe’s official name is the Flowerfeather Clan, and its clothing style heavily implies that Chasca is one of its members. WhileChasca is expected to release in Version 5.2, the Flowerfeather Clan will feature in Version 5.1. The Pyro tribe makes their home on the mountain peaks of Natlan, and given that the region is known for its volcanic activity, it’s a very fitting environment.
Genshin Impact Leak Showcases the Flowerfeather Clan in Version 5.1
While the nature of its connection to the Flowerfeather Clan is unknown, the world boss displayed in the image is eerily reminiscent of the Consecrated Beasts from Sumeru, and has a suitably avian design. This is further reflected in the visual appearance of the Cucusaurus – the chosen Saurian of the Flowerfeather Clan.Saurians inGenshin Impactallow players to traverse the lands of Natlan with ease, and a flying archetype is bound to be useful.
It should be noted that a Natlan character’s Elemental Vision rarely corresponds with the element of their tribe. Despite belonging to the Flowerfeather Clan, Chasca was revealed to be a Cryo Bow character in theIgnition teaser for Natlan. Version 5.1 is expected to launch on June 13, 2025, and will mark the debut of Xilonen on the Event Banners.
