Genshin Impact’s most recentDevelopers Discussionhas revealed extensive information about upcoming changes to various aspects of the game, including world levels, regional specialty tracking, and quest prompts. Once version 5.0 arrives, Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 58 canupgrade to World Level 9. Upgrading theWorld Level inGenshin Impactwill increase the levels of Normal Opponents, Elite Enemies, and Bosses by 10, making overworld battles much more challenging and rewarding.
Genshin Impact Version 5.0: New QoL Improvements Revealed
A new mechanic calledRegional Specialty Trackingwill allow players to pinpoint the exact location range ofGenshin Impact’s regional specialtieson the map. Clicking on the “Go to collect” function will open the map and mark the location range of regional specialties with multiple blue circles. A newLong Quest Functionwill trigger a warning whenever players attempt to enter quests with long durations and increased difficulty. Version 5.0 will also add eight new Artifact Sets to the Mystic Offerings in the Crafting Bench.
Genshin Impact’s official Twitter account has revealed that these won’t be the only QoL changes in update 5.0. Players will find more details in the upcomingGenshin Impact5.0 Special Program. One of the most exciting additions in 5.0 will be the Saurians, who have already been introduced inGenshin Impact’s teaser videos. Players will be able to transform into these small dragons and explore the Pyro nation.
In terms of new roster additions, HoYoverse has confirmed the arrival of Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina. Mualani and Kinich are expected to be five-star units, while Kachina is anticipated to be a four-star rarity. The first banner phase is expected to feature Mualani and Kachina, while Kinich is likely to be released in the second part of the update. When it comes to re-run characters, previous leaks suggest that the Geo Archon Zhongli and the Cryo user Wriothesley will also be featured inGenshin Impactupdate 5.0.
