One big change inGod of War Ragnarokupdate v.06.00 is that companions now give puzzle hints less frequently, giving players more space to explore and solve challenges on their own. The patch also fixes several bugs that have affected gameplay. For example, Brok’s movement issues when heading to the shop in Freyr’s camp are now sorted out. Additionally, items needed for Hilt crafting can no longer be sold by accident; and if they are, the game will now drop those resources again, so players can get back what they need.

The new PS5 Pro Enhanced Mode combines the quality settings from Favor Quality while holding a steady 60 frames per second. Additionally, players with variable refresh rate monitors will enjoy an unlocked frame rate, allowing for an even smoother experience, and the PS5’s Favor Performance mode now gets a performance boost on PS5 Pro as well. For those who want sharper visuals, the update also introduces a PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution setting, which adds to the Temporal Anti-Aliasing option to offer even better upscaling.
