Grounded 2introduced the Omni-Tool, which eliminates the hassle of carrying an axe, hammer, and shovel separately. It’ll be your best friend throughout your journey in the park, which will let you scavenge resources and unearth hidden treasures, carrying exotic loot. However, players will eventually need to upgrade them to higher tiers to extract higher-tier resources. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of the Omni-Tool and instructions on how to obtain all its upgrades.
All Omni-Tool Upgrades in Grounded 2
Omni-Tool has a total of four tools available for players to utilize: Shovel, Hammer, Axe, and a Wrench inGrounded 2. While all the other tools are meant to help you extract resources from the environment, the wrench is a pretty handy tool designed to help you repair various items around you, includingbase components and machinery. All tools have a specific role to play, and you’ll need to eventually upgrade them while heading towards crafting high-tier gear.

Available at the start
Defeat Cockroach Nymphs or bigger Cockroaches
2x Blueberry Leather
Process blueberries in the Resource Analyzer andcraft Blueberry Leather from the Workbench.

Defeat multiple ladybugs, as it’s a rare drop.
3x Lingonberry Leather
Process Lingonberry in the Resource Analyzer and craft Lingonberry Leather from the Workbench.
2x Sprigs
Tier 2
1x Northern Scorpion Stinger
Defeat Northern Scorpions Jr., found mostly roaming the park or inside the Ice Cream Cart area.
Defeat Red Warrior Ants or normal ones to get them.
2x Claw
1000 Raw Science
