Mint Shards are important crafting ingredients inGrounded 2that are required for multiple Tier 2 and Tier 3 recipes. Unlike common resources, however, Mint Shards can only be obtained from very specific locations in Brookhollow Park.

How to Get Mint Shards in Grounded 2
Mint Shards are obtained by breakingFresh MintinGrounded 2. Fresh Mint looks like a tall, white-colored candy that can be found in various locations throughout Brookhollow Park. It can only be broken using aTier 2 Omni-Hammer.
To unlock this Omni-Tool upgrade, you will need 1x Ladybug Head, 3x Lingonberry Leather, and 2,000 Raw Science at a Ranger Station before proceeding to the next step: finding Fresh Mints.
Fresh Mint Shard Locations in Grounded 2
Fresh Mints are scattered across the map ofGrounded 2. Their locations are fixed, which makes locating them a breeze if you know where to look. Here are some easy-to-access locations where players can get Mint Shards by breaking open some Fresh Mints.
Snackbar Wooden Table
On the wooden table that extends out of the front of the Snackbar is an open box of Ice Caps Cold Breath Mints, containing two Fresh Mints inside, with a third just outside of the box.
Picnic Table
On top of thePicnic Table is a locked briefcasethat can be opened with the right combination (137, 514). Inside, there are three fresh mints, three Spicy Candies, and three Sour Candies.
Near Statue
Right behind the Ranger Outpost: Statue in the Ceremony area, is a large concrete block with a mounted light fixture pointed at the statue. Near the light fixture is a box of Ice Caps Cold Breath Mints containing two Fresh Mints.
Brick Path
On the brick path that runs along the border of the Snackbar Front and Ceremony is the Hatchery Anthill: Northern Entrance, where you go to find theRed Soldier Ant Eggto get a Buggy. There is a Fresh Mint inside the tunnels.
Western Hedge
There is a Lingonberry Hedge at the leftmost corner of the Entrance region, behind the Hotdog Snackbar. Inside, there is a small cave with a single Fresh Mint, alongside some Quartzite (Brittle Whetstone).
