Grand Theft Auto: San Andreasallows players to form romantic relationships with NPCs. There are six potential girlfriends available, most of whom provide players with a passive perk. By improving the strength of their relationships, players can also receive gifts from their partners, including access tospecial vehiclesand unique in-game outfits.

How Does Dating Work in GTA San Andreas?
Players can increase the strength of their relationships in a number of different ways, the fastest being to go out on a successful date. A date that goes well will increase the relationship meter by 5%, while a successful date that ends in “Hot Coffee” results in a 10% increase. Players can also give gifts or kisses for an extra 1% bonus, although if the kiss is rejected, they’ll lose 1% rather than gain it. If the date goes badly, either because the player drove at the wrong speed or chose the wrong venue, the relationship meter will fall by 5%.
It’s possible to date more than one woman at a time, although when doing so, there’s a chance that a jealous girlfriend will show up while CJ is out on a date with another woman. Should this happen, players should be sure to evade them, as failure to do so will lead to their current date ending early and their relationship status with the jealous girlfriend taking a hit.
