Great news forHaikyu!!fans who weren’t able to catchThe Dumpster Battlefilmduring its theatrical release in February this year, as Crunchyroll, who had acquired the license to screen the film in North America in May this year announced that it will be available on the streaming platform in both sub and dub from October 31.The Dumpster Battleis half of the two-part film release that forms theHaikyu!!final project depicting the climactic match between Karasuno and Nekoma and is the conclusion of the anime series which has been running since 2014.
Haikyu!!The Dumpster Battlemovie was highly successful, debuting at first in the Japanese box office, earning ¥2.23 billion on its opening weekend (around US$14 609 730) and grossing over $100.4 million internationally.

TheHaikyu!The Dumpster Battlefilm follows directly after the anime series, which ran for four seasons, the last of which was titledHaikyu! To The Top!and ran for two cours. The first cours aired from January 2020 to April 2020, with the second suffering delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and aired from October to December 2020. The two-part final film project was announced in August 2022, and the expected release date for the second film has not yet been revealed.
