Summary
Elite Enemiesare dangerous creatures players can find in allDungeonbornemaps, waiting for unsuspecting victims to try to take them on. To prepare for the worst, it is useful to have all the information on these enemies, their attacks, and their weaknesses. But worry not! This topic has players covered with all the useful information that will make taking these enemies down a walk in the park. Well, a walk in the dungeon in this case.
This ranked list contains each Elite enemy by level of difficulty, alongside their main stats, attacks, and best strategies to avoid being killed by them. It is also important toremember thatDungeonborneis a PvPvE game, so it is possible that other players might interfere during a fight with these enemies, making beating them even more challenging than it already is.
4Werewolf
Fast, Deadly, And Relentless
Fast, vicious, resilient, and murderous, the Werewolf is an intimidating opponent for every dungeon delver. It is not only hard to kill (it has 2500 HP) but it also boasts the highest mobility of all Elite monsters. It will chase players down wherever they go once they pull aggro, and it is extremely hard to avoid. On that note: classes with high mobility like the Druid have the advantage here.
Luckily, there’s a solid strategy to beat it: casters should constantly move and do damage once the Werewolf finishes its attack cycles, while melee classes can parry or block their attacks and counterattack once they see an opening. At around 50% health, it will howl and go berserk, augmenting its speed and the frequency of its attacks. It will also randomly lunge forward during its combos, turning iteven more dangerous for unprepared players.
3Headsman
Slow But Has A Killer Combo
The Headsman (or Executioner) is a strong but slow Mid Elite enemy players can find around Closeau’s Castle. It is often protecting treasure and isone of the most dangerous opponentsfans can face for several reasons. The first is its powerful triple spin combo that is impossible to block or parry and will kill most players if they’re hit by it. The second is its capability to chain combo with a second triple attack that can be triggered randomly, and will also kill any melee or caster class if they get hit.
But this enemy has an even more dangerous mechanic that can cause many unprepared players to fall victim if they’re not aware of it. It will never lose aggro and will continue to attack and track the player (unless another player attacks it) even if they are in an adjacent room. This means that other players can notice the Headsman attacking a door or wall, and will know there’s a player hidden in the other room, and that is bad for the hidden player since they’ll never know if a Rogue, Druid, or Swordmaster are now waiting for them to return and fight the Headsman. Also, watch out for ambushes from enemy players when fighting this Elite.
2Reaper
Fast, Summons Adds, Teleports
The Reaper is a strong Elite Monster and the closest to a boss that players can find under normal circumstances. It has six series of attacks, and all of them are lethal. The first one is a sweep in a spiral that will propel the Reaper in a horizontal line, and cut everything in its path. The second is a series of three fast scythe attacks, unblockable and powerful. The third is a summoning ability: the Reaper will conjure three to five skeletons, often three warriors and two archers.
The fourth attack is a teleport to the back of the aggroed player, with a follow-up scythe attack. The fifth is a charged ability that will detonate in an AoE radius attack, which blinds players and turns skeletons berserk. And the sixth and worst - when a player gets cornered against a wall, the Reaper will do its spiral attack, while rapidly following up with its three combo attack. As players might guess, this is one of the most dangerous opponents they’ll face. The best strategy to beat the second-strongest Elite monster is to keep one’s distance at all times and blast it with ranged attacks. Or,in the case of the Rogue, to kite it while being invisible and backstabbing it.
1Khazra
Tough As Nails, Its Ram Attack Can OHKO
The Khazra (aka big bad goat) is the most powerful Elite enemy players can find in the dungeons, and it is potentially death incarnate for all squishy classes who dare fight it solo. The Khazra is a walking disaster, and though it might seem slow at first sight, don’t get fooled by this. It has a ram attack that can one-shot most players, even if they’re fully equipped. It also boasts the highest HP pool of all elite enemies (5000 HP), so taking it down can take a lot of time. This is dangerous, since a prolonged fightcan potentially attract hostile playerswho can take advantage of the ones fighting the monster, and everyone knows what happens when you get trapped between the hammer and the anvil.
The Khazra has several single combo attacks, but these are tremendously powerful. When enraged, this giant Goat monster will slam the floor around it at random, which is basically called “rampage attack.” It also possesses a debuff ability, a Roar that will slow and apply vulnerability on all affected players for a brief duration. If this comes followed up by a charge attack or its rampage combo, then players better run or heal fast. To summarize, the Khazra is the most dangerous Elite opponent players will face in the dungeons, so watch out and do not get cornered. Also, fair warning. Do not try to kite it near stairs, hallways, or columns, lest players want to get crushed by its horns.
